SW Engineer - Mission Systems

 Software Independent Validation and Verification (IV&V) of Human Computer Interface (HCI) development Software on site. The responsibilities of the position involve evaluating HCI design requirements, software requirements, preliminary and detailed design and code and test. Experience in the following areas is required:
  1. Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
  2. 5 or more years experience with C, C++ and/or Java 1.3 or later JDK and Swing
  3. Human Factors training/experience or knowledge of Navy Combat Systems operations
  4. Systems/Software IV&V/test experience (knowledge of JTEST useful)
  5. Knowledge of Rational Rose and UML
  6. Knowledge of Dynamic Object-Oriented Requirements System (DOORS) application
  7. Knowledge of Object Oriented Analysis/Object Oriented Design (OOA/OOD) techniques/development concepts
  8. Knowledge of commercial and DoD standards including Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) 12207, IEEE 1012, DoD Joint Technical Architecture (JTA), System Engineering Institute (SEI) Capability Maturity Model (CMM) and Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI)
  9. Knowledge of User Interface Modeling Language (UIML). Candidates will be evaluated based on knowledge or experience related to the criteria stated above.
Candidate must have experience in at least Human Factors/Navy Combat Systems operation or Systems/Software IV&V.

C++ Embedded Programmer

 Looking for an accomplished C++ developer with specific experience in Embedded Programming. Environment background should include Safety Critical systems (Avionics, Nuclear or Medical). Must be strong in UML Tool Use and Code Generation.

Rhapsody experience is desired, but Artisan or Rational Rose RT will suffice.

Software Installer

 Mid level Software Installer that can create software builds, install and checkout software on a hardware system and troubleshoot installation problem.
  • The candidate must be able to support delivery deadlines and have strong technical documentation abilities.
  • 5+ years of technical experience with at least 2 years experience in Sun Solaris environment. Unix programming (scripting), Software Installation. Documentation experience highly desired.
  • Candidate MUST hold at least a SECRET level security clearance or one that was deactivated less than 24 months ago. No exceptions on this requirement.

Sr. Software Engineer

 Must have minimum of 10 years of C++ software architecting, design and development using Object Oriented, UML methodology in a Unix (Sun Solaris is highly desirable) environment.

This person needs to be a C++ "Language Expert"
This person's background should be largely defense.

Document Control Specialist

 Create and maintain engineering documentation. Performs internal audits (ISO 9001)
  • DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Create and maintain Device Master Records. This includes utilizing Macola, Excel, AutoCAD, and Word software programs.
    • Process Engineering Change Request for all engineering documents. Provide manufacturing with accurate configuration documentation Production Device Master Record.
    • Create AutoCAD part drawings when not provided by customer and for internal pre-operation uses.
    • Assists the Engineering department in creating engineering documentation for processing R&D and new product orders.
    • Prepare production job jackets for first article, and R&D orders in conjunction with the Manufacturing Engineering and R&D Engineer.
    • Follow all manufacturer safety rules.
  • EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE - Quality Experience, Technical / Vocational School Degree or equivalent; or two to five years related experience, training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • MATHEMATICAL SKILLS - Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages. Ability to compute rate, ration, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Systems Engineer

Define, review and monitor NMD command and launch software requirements. The engineer will accomplish trade studies and generate and monitor metrics to assess the development process. Results will be provided to management in documents, reports and/or briefings.

The successful candidate will have 10+ years experience, a strong software orientation with requirements analysis and interface analysis experience as well as strong software process (SEI CMM) experience.

The ability to write reports and prepare and present briefings is important.

    Missile Systems Engineer
    A0301103

    		 System Engineer to accomplish trade studies and generate and monitor metrics to assess the development process.
    • Results will be provided to management in documents, reports and/or briefings.
    • 10+ years experience, a strong software orientation with requirements analysis and interface analysis experience as well as strong software process (SEI CMM) experience.
    • Missile system experience is highly desirable in areas such as flight calculations, simulations, and mission planning. The candidate must have good people interface skills - must be able to work with other team members and interface with management and the customer.
    • The ability to write reports and prepare and present briefings is important.
    • Must have an active security clearance or been debriefed within the last 24 months.
