EMPLOYMENT SUMMARY

AMTEC began supporting mainframe systems in 1977. Projects have ranged in scope from simple batch applications written in COBOL to major systems developed using state of the art software, including, DB2, IMS DB/DC, CICS, ADABAS and many software tools, development aids and products.

AMTEC was instrumental in the migration from IMS to DB2 as environments and system architectures began moving from Hierarchical to Relational Data Bases (RDB) and Management Systems (RDBMS).

AMTEC has developed a strong base of talent over the years in support of these main frame systems. Because of our history in this market place we continue to present the finest and most talented individuals to our customers in support of these systems.

Many of our mainframe systems staff members have been cross trained in Client/Server Technologies and Systems. This synthesis of knowledge and experience helps to bring harmony between older in-place systems and the demand for more information through emerging technologies.
